Sure, my proposal, like the world, is far from perfect, it at least
implies you have to trust me, but as I am already in theis group anyway,
that does not seem too unreasonable to me. As to federation, I think
this could, and should be a private setup for this group.

if some information sould be further confined I suggest that people
would use end-to-end encrypted communication protocols anyway.

My proposal is as secretive as a meetingroom setup where I as host do my
best to sweep the room and protect the building. Considering my work I
might be more succesful doint that then an average user, but you know,
this is not a zero sum game.
