[Festival] Que Pasa!! :) Update on the Festival | IFF

Dear Amigos, Camaradas, and Friends :)

The more we talk to the community about the festival, the more you guys
share crazy, unique and colorful ideas --- and that just makes us even
more excited :)  We wanted to give everyone an update of where we are.
We super need your help to pull this off, so sending a huge HUG in
advance from the team :)

*** In Homegirl’s Kick-Ass Words ***
The wonderful Jillian York wrote a piece to kick off the Festival blog
talking about what to expect in Valencia. If you have an article you
would like to write for the festival, let us know! It can be about your
research, project, or call for help.

*** Submit Sessions ***
Please make sure to submit a session(s) by December 15. Currently, we
need many more sessions for following tracks: Diversity, Gender,
Journalism & Media, and Design & Usability.

*** Support Peeps from the Developing South ***
This year, we are really making an effort to support peeps from the
developing south. If you or your organization can sponsor an individual,
please let us know. You will be listed as a friend of the festival and
we will give you lots of love as well :)

**** Join Da Party Crew ****
Last year we secured 90s DJ Chimo Bayo. This year we are close to
securing local Valencian internet sensation, and are busy planning a
ping pong competition. However, we need individuals to shepherds social
events. If you want to help create a fun environment for the community,
so they can chill, relax and unwind, let us know!! We need your help :)
