Hello Network-Centric Designers,
I wanted to invite you to this upcoming session that might very well be the beginning of a new resources or building off of existing resources. And also that you might find the topic relevant.
Here’s the framing:
With the takeover of Twitter by Elon Musk and the slow erosion of trust that users are experiencing with Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), corporate social media is in decline. How might non-profits navigate these waters? Is the answer really getting them to understand the decentralised Fediverse and start using Mastodon? Or is the answer in refocusing on other established channels like email?
Join myself and Janet Gunter for this online session on December 13th, at 16:00 UTC (check your time zone) <https://fabriders.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f8ed643cecc9d640b7a2e7c2f&id=f1b6914def&e=60e372dcd2> and help us explore potential pathways that non-profits might ensure their abilities to reach audiences are viable with greater greater control of their content.

Note: this is the first of a series of online sessions. We realise that December is a busy time, and we will schedule another in January if you can’t make this one. To get the word about future sessions and their outputs, email to: info at fabriders.net <mailto:info at fabriders.net>.
Hope to see you there!
