Hello hello!
I hope this email finds you well!
*tldr: Are you working on or have you see interesting work on "deceptive
design" or "dark patterns"? Are there related efforts happening in your
community? We'd love to hear about it!*
I’m reaching out because we have embarked on an exciting new project with
the Web Foundation on tackling deceptive design (or "Dark Patterns") and
moving towards trusted design patterns. This effort is a part of the Web
Foundation’s Tech Policy Design Lab, which brings together companies,
governments, and civil society — using a human-centered approach — to
better understand the many challenges around deceptive design and co-create
policy solutions that promote trusted design patterns. You can learn more
via the project brief

and website <https://techlab.webfoundation.org/deceptive-design/overview>.
[Request] We are currently working on identifying resources, research,
organizations and people who are working in this space or on these issues
to include in the project. If you have work we should know about or people
you think we should connect with, we’d love to hear from you. We are
particularly interested to connect with folks working outside the US, EU &
UK.
Thank you in advance, and we look forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards,
Georgia & SimSec Team & 3x3.co Team
