Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to highlight some opportunities for you all to build your networks and also an opportunity to get brains to give you inputs on any resources you are designing.

In case you missed it - MozFest has extended their call for proposals for sessions, but blink and you may miss it, as the deadline is Tuesday December 1st at 9am CET. Basically, if you are working on Internet Health or Trustworthy AI in any way- this is a great place for you to connect, build your network and move that work forward! See: https://www.mozillafestival.org/en/get-involved/proposals/ <https://www.mozillafestival.org/en/get-involved/proposals/>

RightsCon has just announced their call for proposals for sessions and you’ve got a little longer to meet the Deadline - it’s January 19th, 2021. RightsCon is putting a lot of emphasis on strengthening their support in help organisers deliver excellent sessions this year (we’re partnering with them on this) and if you are working towards shaping a global digital future and want to connect with likeminded individuals, this is the place for you. See: https://www.rightscon.org/rightscon-2021-call-for-proposals-is-now-open/ <https://www.rightscon.org/rightscon-2021-call-for-proposals-is-now-open/>

Our Virtual Session Design Canvas (beta), might be of help to you in both figuring out the pitch but then planning your session. See: https://www.fabriders.net/canvas-draft/ <https://www.fabriders.net/canvas-draft/>

Good Luck,

Dirk
