[Network-Centric Resources] User Feedback and User Personas

Hello Everyone,

Taking a bit of a break from our online discussions over the summer,  but I’m already starting to hatch a plan for our next one. After having a conversation with Soraya Okuda at EFF about managing user feedback, I realised that would be a great topic for our next online discussion.  I’ve also touched base with Heather Leson at IFRC about her experience with collecting and integrating User Feedback for the Data Playbook and she expressed a lot of interest in participating.  My question for everyone on this list is: who else would like to be an anchor for the discussion?  Are you currently facing challenges with User Feedback and want to engage your peers on how to over come them? Let me know.

I’m tentatively scheduling the discussion for Tuesday, September 17th at 8:00 Pacific, 11 Easter, 16:00 London and 17:00 Europe.

Also, while I’ve got your attention on User Personas - I’ve just published a Workshop Exercise on Creating User Personas (https://www.fabriders.net/user-personas/) in the FabToolkit. (https://www.fabriders.net/category/fabtoolkit/).  I could definitely use some feedback on the Post - so if you see anyway I can improve it, please let me know.  I’m also looking for some good use studies of User Personas (see towards the bottom on Examples of using User Personas) - I’d like to have a good list of using user personas in different contexts, so if you have a good, ‘here’s what we did with user personas’ up on the web somewhere, please send me a link.
