Hey NCR'ers,

Just in case you hadn’t noticed that the next online discussion for FabRiders’ Network Centric Project is featuring Adam Hyde. For those of you that don’t know Adam, he’s been working on platforms that enable online collaboration with a particular focus on book makers. I first got to know Adam back when he was working on something called FLOSS Manuals - which was a repository to aid in the reuse and remixing of well, FLOSS Manuals. He’s recently co-founded the Collaborative Knowledge foundation https://coko.foundation - which 'builds open source publishing software using collaborative development’.

We’ll be discussing his lessons learned in areas like the usefulness of text-based repositories and enabling reuse and modification of publications.

It will take place on Wednesday, May 30th, at 8:00 PDT, 9:00 CST, 11:00 EST, 16:00 BST, 17:00 CEST, 18:00 EAT, 20:30 IST.

To RSVP to get details on how to join the discussion see: https://www.fabriders.net/portfolio/ncradamhyde/

Cheers,

Dirk
