Hi Everyone,
For those of you that missed our online discussion with Milena Marin from Amnesty International on lessons learned from their engaging a small army of volunteers in reviewing online materials to identify evidence of human rights abuses.
Milena’s key points on how to get people to contribute:
Provide potential contributors a rational and strong value proposition.
Educate participants on the issue and how they are contributing.
Communicate continually on the progress of the campaign.
Show participants the overall impact of their contribution.
And of course there was much more. You can view the rest of the notes along with the video of the conversation here: https://www.fabriders.net/ncrnotesamnestymilena/
I’ll be announcing the next online discussion shortly - do get in touch if you want to discuss challenges and lessons learned from developing your resource for an upcoming online discussion.
Best,
Dirk
