Hello Non-Profit Comms Peeps,

I want to invite you to:

Effective Event Approaches, a ‘taster’ workshop on July 31st at 3pm UTC.
Join a network of practitioners sharing their experience designing convenings in an ever-changing ecosystem: online versus offline versus hybrid, local versus international, unconference to hyper-scheduled to slow convening. This workshop will allow event designers, managers, producers, and enthusiasts to share their experiences, learn about new approaches, and connect with others on a similar journey. You can also provide input and feedback on suggestions for ‘The Event Design Lab’. https://www.fabriders.net/event-design-lab/
RSVP by emailing workshops at fabriders.net, and we will share details on how to join us online.
The Facilitating Collective Power Lab
During this two-day, three-hour-a-day online lab, we will explore the different power domains in which change-makers operate and how to effectively design and facilitate power analysis and strategy sessions to help them move more effectively towards success. We will also explore how to identify, practice and support “facilitative leadership”. We will compile facilitation best practices that help us ‘walk the walk’. By the end of the workshop, you will have greater expertise in developing community-centric strategies that support movements and drive real change. We are offering the lab twice during the week of July 29th to accommodate a diversity of time zones. Learn more and register here: https://www.fabriders.net/facilitating-collective-power/
Registration is 240 GBP. As a valued member of this network, we're delighted to offer you a 25% discount. Choose your preferred time and date, click the green “next” button to register, and enter the promo code FabRiders25 when prompted. The discount will be applied automatically. Also note that there is an ‘apply for scholarship’ link at the bottom of the page for anyone who might find the registration fee a barrier to participating.

Hope to see you next week!
