I would like you all to take a look at the following book:
Lofland, J., Snow, D. A., Anderson, L., & Lofland, L. (2006). Analyzing Social Settings. A Guide to Qualitative Observation and Analysis (4th edn). Thompson and Wadsworth.
It is a very comprehensive guide to handle qualitative data, and is useful for creating the interview guide, what we called “tagging” (that the book calls “logging”) etc.
It is hard to get by, but I bought a 2nd hand copy for you team through Bol.com. I will arrive within 6-12 days at the department, for the DATAGOV team, so that you can get your hands on it also while I am away.
Matteo has my copy for now (but I want it back. can i get it next week? To prepare some material for us. thanks)
