Dear friends from the world,

It is my utmost pleasure to invite you to my inaugural lecture as Full Professor, which will take place on Monday 18 May, 10.15 - 12.00 Central European Time, at the Department of Informatics, University of Oslo! Can't wait to celebrate this big day with you all!!

Here are some logistics, for the day and surroundings:

- The lecture will take place in person, but Zoom will be enabled for those attending remotely. A registration link will be shared approximately one month before the event. For now, please save the date: everyone, from all corners of the planet, is very welcome to attend and join!

- It will be splendid to host in Oslo those of you joining for the event. It is also the case that the day before, Sunday 17 May, is our national Day with big celebrations all over the country, so it would be splendid if you wish to travel on Saturday and enjoy that one too! I can host some of us at my humble apartment in north Oslo (my family will also be staying with us), and very happy to help out find accommodation closer to the town centre if preferred.

- On the 18th after the lecture, we will "migrate" towards town centre for some sightseeing, to then continue the celebrations at my place or, should the weather allow, by Sognsvann lake<https://www.visitoslo.com/en/product/?tlp=2982813&name=Sognsvann-lake> which is just ten minutes from my apartment. Nothing formal (at all), but laughter, toasts, and pasta al forno are guaranteed! Can't wait to enjoy a splendid day with all my loved ones, close and far!
