Dear Jonas, thanks you so much for this: great job!

Now, is it possible (@Giulia Campaioli<mailto:g.campaioli at uva.nl> can also contribute, perhaps?) to have another version that ties up more explicitly with the IAS mission and activities (e.g.,  investigating infrastructures<https://ias.uva.nl/research-themes/digital-societies-and-infrastructures/investigating-infrastructures/investigating-infrastructures.html>, the new RPA Shaping Interfaces Between Science and the Public (see here<https://ias.uva.nl/community/research-groups/research-groups.html>), the mission and approach<https://ias.uva.nl/about-the-ias/mission-and-approach/about.html> and the connection with arts? We want to be one of the research groups<https://ias.uva.nl/community/research-groups/research-groups.html> that meets there once a week.
It should be sprinkled all over the short text, which should be max 1 page.

Can I ask this favour? So much to do before I take off… and want to send it this week.

A cleaned up version of the Living Lab mission notes for IAS: https://uva.works.surf.nl/f/6597504 Stefania, can you access this by now?
Note that this is a shortened version of the much richer notes. I tried to be very concise, to the point, concrete and aligned with IAS’s mission statement.

Any changes and comments very welcome, this is a non-authorative draft to be used in any way that is most useful for the project.

Deadline to send this to IAS was early July (responsible: Stefania)!

Hi Team,

In the shared document, there is a lot of very interesting content, started by Stefania, extended by Federico, Giulia, myself recently also Carina with a focus on IAS. https://uva.works.surf.nl/f/6114864

Can everyone access it? It’s in the DATAGOV_home > DATAGOV_lab folder.

There is a lot of information in here.

So, I am wondering if it is ok if I write out a page based on all these notes and my own experiences as a starting draft for what to share with IAS? Not everything from the notes will fit and if someone else prefers to write it out instead of me, that’s also fine.

I would structure the draft:


  1.
Lab overarching goals
  2.
lab vision (aligned with IAS vision)
  3.
a few concrete examples (interactive Art, Playable Citizen Science, Documentary Infrastructure Walking…)

I can get it done on Thursday
