Both budgets estimate that each guest will have two drinks. I am not sure they can reduce that number further but can call and ask once they are back in Amsterdam next week.

Agree with Giulia. Option 2 is a bit small/cheap for an ERC project.
Let’s rather reduce amount of free drinks, or choice of drinks (water + wine) or something like that if Terre Lente can work like that.

I think option 1 is best if we have the budget for it (I always worry that people will not have enough food). Maybe we can ask them to put out more quantity of the things that are restriction-friendly.

but we won’t go bankrupt (not yet) with the more expensive option. just be mindful that appetizers there are olives, cheese, and salami, plus some veggies. not very DATAGOV-friendly i am afraid

After chatting with Mattéo and the Terre Lente folks, the new options are:

  1.  Three-course meal: antipasti + baked eggplant in tomato sauce [cheese optional] + dessert + drinks = €1500
  2.  Baked eggplant in tomato sauce [cheese optional] + salad + drinks = €1100

Dear team,



I have confirmed our booking with Terre Lente, as well as the number of people and dietary restrictions.



Luigi offered 2 budgets (for 27 people):

  1.  Three-course meal (antipasti, pasta, dessert) + drinks = €1500
  2.  Pasta + salad + drinks = €1100

I wanted to run both options by y'all before making a decision.



Just as a reference, Stefania's proposed budget for the Terre Lente dinner was €1000.
