[DATAGOV Core] Team dinner February 18

The broth has been boiling for a couple of hours now 😊
Note that the risotto can be cooked only when people are in the house, so we won’t eat the first and only course straight away (so don’t worry Jonas)
Also: at some point I will kick you out. Emma is a very social animal and loves good parties (although I am sure she will be shy when you come in. But we have been practising looking at the troll pic featuring Matteo/Carina/Sruthi so she probably expects you dressed as trolls). As she won’t go to bed while there are people in the house, you will be asked to leave around 9pm. SORRY. Perks of Amsterdam tiny houses...

Same here (except the drooling).

I'll arrive at around 18.30 (probably a bit before). Please start eating if Emmatje gets too hungry.
I wish I could contribute more to the cooking, thanks so much Steffi!

See you all soon.

Hi stefi,

I'm super duper excited about the dinner today! Thank you for organizing (and also cooking, everything sounds so good I'm drooling already).

Let us know if there's any last minute shopping that needs to be done!

Meg

Dear Stefi,

Wow you really thought of everything!

Can we help with anything? I was thinking that, if you want, I could bring a gluten free/lactose free dessert, to take some weight off your shoulders - and also possibly get something you can enjoy as well!

Thanks again for the invitation, and for bringing the amazing radicchio from your dad's garden!

Best,
Giulia

Dear all
Given our collective dietary restrictions, I will cook a risotto with radicchio tardivo di Treviso (see picture), courtesy of my father’s vegetable garden. The risotto will be gluten-free, including home-made broth, and vegetarian. For the cheese-lovers, there will be parmigiano and gorgonzola to go with it, but that will be individually added, so no worries there.
There will be a rice-paper roll appetisers (that you have to make yourself), since ChatGPT tells me that work with all of us. And I can buy one or more gluten-free and celiac-safe appetisers (suggestions? I mean something boxed that I don’t have to get anxious about, but also something @Carina<mailto:c.romanachnasser2 at uva.nl>and @Mattéo Bard<mailto:m.bard at uva.nl> like—so please tell me!), as well as a salad and a dessert (probably coconut-milk chia pudding… it kills me but none of you so I can live with that 😉)
There will be prosecco and Venetian spritz, and more wine. Bring your beer if you fancy some. Stronger alcoholic beverages abound here (since they go largely unnoticed eheh).

If you have objections or preferences, let me know ASAP.

@Carina Nasser<mailto:c.romanachnasser2 at uva.nl>Carina, feel free to bring your own first course and cutlery/plates if you feel safer. I already prepared the risotto basis, and I did my best to follow the instructions, but this is indeed a shared kitchen. I can also order some take-home gluten free meal, but you have to tell me what you trust. I did some search but of course haven’t tried any…

Looking forward! Pleas bee here (Madelievenstraat 2-C, 1015NV, name on bell) around 6-6.30 pm. Our Emma is starving when she comes back from daycare.
