📣 Call for Student Volunteers – DATAGOV Kick-off Event

We are looking for 1–2 motivated student volunteers to support the DATAGOV project<https://datagovlab.net/> kick-off event on March 26–27, 2026 in Amsterdam.

What you’ll help with

  *   Welcoming speakers and participants

  *   Supporting the flow of the event on both days

  *   Light documentation (notes, photos, or short summaries)

  *
We request your participation to a half-day preparation meeting, too

Why volunteer?

  *   Get a behind-the-scenes look at an international research project funded by the European Research Council

  *   Meet leading international and local scholars and practitioners working on data, governance, and democracy

  *   Earn 1 ECTS for your participation in the research workshop on Day 1 (March 26), including writing a short blog post to be shared through our channels

  *   Be invited to the invite-only dinner on Day 1 and the borrel on Day 2

  *   Volunteers who are a good fit may be considered for a paid, part-time Research Assistant / Project Management position starting in September (subject to formal procedures)

Who we’re looking for

  *   RMA or Master’s students (any relevant track)

  *   Reliable, proactive, and comfortable in an event setting; able to work independently and anticipate needs

  *   Interest in data infrastructures, governance, democracy, or related themes is a strong plus
