Thanks, Jonas.

Since we are all going to be together—and in case there is time before, during, or after the meeting—, I would love to get y'all's feedback on my EASST presentation.

Kind regards,
Carina

Hey hey,

Works for me too!

We can also keep this shorter and focus on planning for the coming months.
Scheduling regular team meetings and checkins, setting my next visit to Amsterdam etc.

I finally have good news: I just received and signed my contract for the next two years. This means: you will hear much more of me. I will take over more coordinating tasks of the team to take bigger loads off Giulia’s and Stefania’s shoulders. More on that also next week.

Hurray

Many greetings

Dear all, update: we have a profs meeting on Tuesday at 1pm-2.30pm. This means I can do 11 to 1pm only. THis may conflict with my meeting with Mattéo—I will get in touch separately. Best, Stefania

Dear team, sorry for being so slow these days. I have some eye issues that reduces my screen time and have been busy with a humongous evaluation of large-scale AI projects for the Swedish Research Council, which I finished yesterday (I was the only SSH person in a group of 10 engineers and similar, not fun. We were tasked to “decide” where Sweden should put all its money in the next 10 years: robots, AI in education, healthcare data, you name it… quite some doom scenarios).

Next Tuesday my beloved PhD student Guillén Torres will defend his thesis<https://aihr.uva.nl/content/events/2026/09/guillen-torres.html?origin=WwlfvMXFR%2F25v%2BlML%2FjsPA>, at 4pm at the Agnietenkapel. Please join! I also have an hairdresser appointment at 9.45 (ops, sorry), but what about meeting at 12-2pm, or 1-3pm?

Let me know if it works!
Stefania

Dear all,

Tuesday, September 1 09:30-11:00 works for me.

Some data security items to be discussed and scheduled:

  *
Before the meeting, it would be great if we could all read the data security workflow document Stefania sent out a couple of months ago (and attached to this email).
  *
If possible, getting started on Step 3 (individual modeling) before the meeting would be super helpful, too.
  *
Let's assign tasks and set new deadlines during next week's meeting.

Thank you for your help!

Kind regards,
Carina

Hi Team,

Had a super productive reading group meeting today. Thanks for engaging with the texts!

Following our discussion today, wanted to ask everyone in the team if we can find a meeting slot that works for us in the next week (before Carina & Jonas head to EASST and I go on personal leave for a week) to select our monthly meeting dates.

It would be super useful to have our (half) day long meeting schedule fixed from September to December. Also important that we can find a time to discuss our field work ideas, few standardised questions, interview tagging scheme and timelines etc.

Since we begin our weekly Tuesday meetings in the morning from next week, could we perhaps an extended meeting on say, 1 September 9.30-11 am, to find our meeting slots and other things? (Thanks Matteo for the suggestion).

What do you think?

Best regards,
Sruthi
