Sounds great to me. We just need venues and invitees 😉
It can wait until early jan.
But thanks in the meantime!

Ok, so I had not seen this email and the word document/agenda before sending out my previous mail. My apologies. This makes a huge difference to what I was writing. Great plans for the workshop! The Sweelinck definitely looks too small on the photo to accommodate this plan though.

thinking about agenda again

1st day: (not UvA)
16.00 or 17.00
keynote(s) . 1h
+ performance. 30min
+ discussion between speaker(s) and artist if possible, moderated by Steffi 30min
+ cocktail (open for public, more come if you provide free drinks). 1h
20.30 dinner for our invited friends and workshop participants of next day

2nd day: (on UvA premises)
workshop as planned incl. networking borrel with more invited friends
+ party.

Dear all, I have reached out to IAS with the attached document.
Just to be on the safe side, I have asked for a full day—we can always reduce it to half-day but having the room for a longer period allows us more flexibility down the line.

Thanks Giulia for the description, which I have amended a bit.
My idea is

  *
I give a tiny introduction to the project
  *
Each of you gives a lightning talk for 10’ or so on an aspect of the project (your phd, for example)
  *
Then our invited guests tell us from their own persective what we should tackle in the respective region/technology. We can decide whether we want regions/country or by tech.

Just a modest proposal. what do you think?
Stefania
