Hi all,

I hope this email finds you all very well. I am about to start a three year post doc at the Univeristy of Amsterdam working on ....... values in standard setting processes. The research group also has several computer scientists who are very interested in working with, and contributing to BigBang.

However, they mentioned that the AGPL license would be an issue for their lab because of the viral nature of the license. They would however be totally fine with an MIT license.

I discussed this shortly with Sebastian, and he came across this issue earlier as well. Actually, then we had an agreement to move to MIT licenses, but we never actually did. Therefore I would propose that we now actually make the transition to an MIT license. Would anyone have an objection to that?

Best,

Niels
