This is very cool, thanks for sharing.

It looks like the data collection here is manual, with gender determined by personal knowledge, and limited to the leadership teams of each project. (That’s a fine set of decisions, I’m just noting it as a different approach.) The other specific contribution is the particular calculation of an equality metric between 0 and 1, which we could also calculate, although I’m not sure whether it’s important or advisable to try to reduce this to a single number/ratio.

Yeah, small releases and quality milestones are important. I’ve been working on this off and on, and I have a couple PRs open with new tests, which seems like the main focus.
