OTech conducts research and provides technical guidance that helps drive the FTC's consumer protection mission. We expect the internship to entail a technical research project. We will define the project based on the intern, ideally finding one that simultaneously advances the agency’s understanding of a relevant issue and matches the student’s research focus. A goal of the internship is to make progress towards publishable research that could fit into the student’s dissertation, and the project could potentially continue beyond the student’s time at the FTC.</div><div> </div><div>The announcement has more details, but interested students are welcome to contact Joe Calandrino (jcalandrino@ftc.gov) with any questions.
